Was tempted to pull the trigger on an Apogee One. Does anyone have A/B experience of the two? Would you consider the Apogee One an upgrade in terms of sound quality compared to the Focusrite?
One issue to think about is cable support. I intended to try Duet for using my iPad as an second monitor for both a Mac and a PC. But my new iPad Pro 2018 only takes USB-C input, and my Mac & PC are both USB-A. According to the Duet folks, there is not yet an Apple-certified USB-A to USB-C cable. The DSP plugins for the Apogee Ensemble do not come bundled with the interface so none are listed there. To get the special dual-path plugins that can use the DSP in the Apogee Ensemble you have to buy them, either individually or you can get all 5 in the Apogee FX Bundle, priced $499 and these are listed in the 4th column.
